《機(jī)械科學(xué)與技術(shù)雜志》（JMST）是韓國機(jī)械工程師協(xié)會（KSME）的官方國際月刊。2005年采用了當(dāng)前的期刊名稱。這本雜志的第一期發(fā)表于1987年，直到1992年，每年兩次以KSME期刊的名義出版。1993年至1996年為季刊，1997年至1998年為雙月刊，1999年為月刊。1997年至2004年，期刊名稱為《KSME國際期刊》（ISSN1226-4865）。1994年，《科學(xué)引文索引擴(kuò)展》（簡稱SCIE），并在SCOPUS、檢查、谷歌學(xué)者、知網(wǎng)、當(dāng)前內(nèi)容╱工程、EBSCO學(xué)術(shù)搜索、EI核心期刊、擴(kuò)大學(xué)術(shù)范圍、Gale等網(wǎng)站進(jìn)行了索引。《機(jī)械科學(xué)與技術(shù)》雜志的宗旨是為出版和傳播有助于理解機(jī)械工程的主要和相關(guān)學(xué)科(無論是經(jīng)驗(yàn)的還是理論的)的原創(chuàng)作品提供一個國際論壇。該雜志涵蓋了機(jī)械工程的所有領(lǐng)域，包括但不限于動力學(xué)、振動與聲音工程、材料與技術(shù)、流體工程、固體力學(xué)與設(shè)計、微/納米工程與技術(shù)、生產(chǎn)工程、機(jī)器人與控制、熱力與動力工程和生物工程。手稿可以分為幾類，包括完整的文章、征求意見的評論或評注，以及與機(jī)械工程核心相關(guān)的未經(jīng)請求的評論或評注。還建議保存即將發(fā)生事件的國際日記。出版特刊的潛在客座編輯應(yīng)聯(lián)系該期刊的主編。

Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology (JMST) is an official monthly International transaction of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME). The current journal name was adopted in 2005. The first issue of the journal appeared in 1987, two times a year until 1992 under the name of KSME Journal. Then, it was published quarterly from 1993 to 1996, and bimonthly from 1997 to 1998, and monthly since 1999. From 1997 to 2004, the journal name was KSME International Journal (ISSN 1226-4865). In 1994, the journal was indexed as Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and also in SCOPUS, INSPEC, Google Scholar, CNKI, Current Contents/Engineering, EBSCO Academic Search, EI Compendex, Expanded Academic, Gale, etc. The aim of the Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology is to provide an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original work that contributes to the understanding of the main and related disciplines of mechanical engineering, either empirical or theoretical. The Journal covers the whole spectrum of mechanical engineering, which includes, but is not limited to, Dynamics, Vibration and Sound Engineering, Materials and Technology, Fluids Engineering, Solid Mechanics and Design, Micro/Nano Engineering and Technology, Production Engineering, Robotics and Control, Thermal and Power Engineering and Bio Engineering.Manuscripts may fall into several categories including full articles, solicited reviews or commentary, and unsolicited reviews or commentary related to the core of mechanical engineering. It is also proposed to maintain an international diary of forthcoming events. Prospective guest editors for publishing the special issue should contact the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal.
