Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering (CMBE) focuses on research that studies how cellular behavior arises from molecular-level interactions to tackle the challenge of improving human health. It offers investigators a forum for the dissemination of research that utilizes engineering principles and methods to advance fundamental knowledge and technological solutions related to cellular and molecular systems. Specific cell processes of interest include cell growth, differentiation, migration, signal transduction, protein secretion and transport, gene expression and regulation, and cell-matrix interactions.CMBE is an official journal of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES).
